Make the most of this opportunity to meet the Dean of Graduate Research, Professor Laura Poole-Warren. Meet the Dean in an intimate forum that is open to all postgraduate researchers and that will involve plenty of opportunities for you to ask questions.

You just need to look at PhD Comics to know how challenging the student-supervisor relationship can be. This session will touch on areas including managing your supervisor, the student – supervisor relationship and developing skills for after your degree. It will also shed light on the fact that there is a life post-PhD! You will hear about the Dean’s experiences as a PhD candidate, research training strategies and there will plenty of opportunity for questions and discussion with the Dean.
