Supervisor Development Series - Canberra - Communication to build effective HDR relationships -CANCELLED

Professor Joseph Lai, of the School of Engineering and Information Systems, acknowledged for his excellence in communication and developing and managing a HDR student relationships will present insights drawn from his experiences both as an academic and an ADR.

The session will focus on communication and its role in building effective HDR relationships.  Participants will have the opportunity to explore the behaviours, skills and attributes of successful supervisors and to identify techniques that help supervisors to build an effective supervisor-student relationship

Registration is via MyUNSW:

• Enter your login ID (eg z1234567) and your zpass and click login
• Select the tab at the top called ‘My staff profile’
• On the left hand pane under ‘My Staff Services’
• Click on ‘Training Registration’
• Under "Course Type", select ‘Research’ from the drop down menu
• Press "Search" and then select the course "Communication HDR - CANB"  and submit this for approval to your supervisor.
