NHMRC Funding Schemes
For all NHMRC Funding Schemes, there is a dedicated Round Coordinator who is responsible for oversight of the Round, assignment of compliance advisers, undertaking compliance review of applications, liaising with the NHMRC on application questions or issues, updating applicants on important information, and ensuring all applications are submitted on time.

Debbie is the initial contact within the Research Strategy Office for assistance with putting together an application for one of the Schemes below. The deadline for submitting drafts to Debbie for strategic advice is two weeks prior to the GMO internal deadline.

*The opening of the 2012 TRIP Fellowship application round, for funding commencing in 2013, has been delayed. NHMRC is reviewing the training component of this scheme in order to enhance this aspect of the TRIP Fellowships. The scheme opening date of 24 January 2012 had previously been advised on the NHMRC website, however the opening date will now be later in 2012. Further information will be provided when available.

The NHMRC has changed the process for application and review of Partnerships Projects. Applications can be submitted at any time, beginning April 2012, with review at 3 intervals annually. This will allow applicants to apply with their partners whenever they have secured agreements.
