UNSW PhD Candidate Paid Maternity Leave Scholarships
The UNSW Paid Maternity Leave Scholarships are designed to enable local PhD candidates currently in receipt of a scholarship with no maternity leave entitlements to apply for paid maternity leave for a period of up to 12 weeks, under the same conditions that are provided by the APA/UPA scholarships. The support will be equal to the value of the scholarship that the candidate has held for at least two semesters. The following scholarships funded by bequests and UNSW benefactors are available at various times throughout the year subject to funding availability.
- Application Process
Applications for these Scholarships outlined below must be submitted on the appropriate Scholarship Application Form.These scholarships are ONLY for postgraduate research study at UNSW
(applicants must have either submitted an application for admission or already be studying at UNSW to be eligible).Applications will only be accepted during the application periods specified and must be emailed to the GRS email address provided with the scholarship details outlined on the form.
