Jennifer L. Jolly, Ph.D., is a honorary A/Prof. in gifted education at the University of New South Wales. Currently, she is also a Professor of gifted education at the University of Alabama. Her research interests include the history of gifted education, homeschooling, and parents of gifted children. Her work has been published in Gifted Child Quarterly, Journal for the Education for the Gifted, High Ability Studies, Roeper Review, and Gifted Child Today. Jennifer has written and edited several books, including A Century of Contributions to Gifted Education: Illuminating Lives (Routledge) with Ann Robinson. She is the co-editor of The Journal for the Education of the Gifted. Jennifer also served as editor of Parenting for High Potential from 2007–2012. She is on the editorial advisory boards of Gifted Child Quarterly, the Journal of Advanced Academics, Gifted and Talented International and Gifted Child Today. For her work in gifted education, she received the NAGC Early Leader Award (2013), and the Award for Excellence in Research from the Mensa Foundation (2010), and the Michael Pyryt Collaboration Award, AERA/Research Creativity, Giftedness and Talent (2012).  Her classroom experience includes eight years in the U.S. public school system working with both gifted and regular education students.
