Associate Professor Karen Canfell leads the Cancer Modelling Group at the Lowy Cancer Research Centre UNSW. The group are involved in a number of projects in prevention of cervical, colorectal and other cancers.

Peter Saunders was the Director of the Social Policy Research Centre (SPRC) at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) from February 1987 until July 2007, and now holds a Research Chair in Social Policy within the Centre.
Nigel Lovell is currently a Scientia Professor at the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, University of New South Wales (UNSW) working in the areas of bionics, biomonitoring and physiological modelling.
