I was born in London, took my D.Phil. at Oxford University and have been at UNSW since 1977. I am a former head of the history school, and was the Faculty’s Associate Dean for Research and Postgraduate Affairs from 2002-7.
Elizabeth Fernandez is a Professor of Social Work at the School of Social Sciences, at the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, UNSW. She is the Postgraduate Research Coordinator of the School (2010 to mid-2011).

Mee Ling is a Post-doctoral Research Fellow investigating the role of CD4+ T cells in primary vaccination with Vaccinia virus. She is interested in understanding the differences between the primary CD4+ T cell response to Vaccinia and HIV-1.
Dr Michele Barker works in the field of new media arts, exhibiting extensively both in Australia and overseas. Barker has contributed to the field of new media arts extensively via her engagement as a research-oriented practitioner.
Michaelis Michael studied zoology and philosophy at Monash University in Melbourne before doing a PhD in philosophy at Princeton University. He works across a number of areas in philosophy, from human rights to formal logic.
