3 Minute Thesis Competition
With just three minutes to give a compelling presentation on their thesis topic and its significance, the 3 Minute Thesis competition forces research candidates to consolidate their ideas and crystalise their research discoveries.

UNSW Inventor Awards
The UNSW Inventor Awards recognise and reward inventors that are making the world a better place. The awards, carrying a total cash prize pool of $28,000, are open to UNSW academics and students commercialising their research with NewSouth Innovations.
Presented annually, the awards reward commercialisation excellence in the fields of biomedicine; science & engineering; environmental science; and information and communication technology.
Awards are presented for each of these categories, as well as recognising an overall UNSW Inventor of the Year, a Student Inventor Award, and a Best New Inventor Award. Click here for more information.
