UNSW Research Institutes are Internal UNSW umbrella organisations encompassing a number of Centres, or else may be major joint ventures involving UNSW Schools, Centres and Faculties. UNSW Research Institutes represent significant organisational grouping and longer-term, multidisciplinary research activity focused across several Schools/Faculties. They will ordinarily have significant linkages with industry, government and other external research organizations.
