About Us

The UNSW Digital Grid Futures Institute is leading the development of technologies and policy change roadmaps that set out the transition to a more reliable, sustainable and equitable energy ecosystem that supports essential services being delivered to future generations of Australia and global communities. Our community of nearly 100 researchers include representation from all UNSW faculties, with world leading expertise across our 6 research themes. The Institute is led by Professor Joe Dong, globally renowned professor of energy systems and digitally enabled smart communities.
