Dr Jessica Yajie Jiang is an ACAP research fellow and lecturer at School of Photovoltaic and Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE). She completed her PhD on investigating optical properties of photovoltaic materials: silver and perovskite under the supervision of Professor Martin A. Green in University of New South Wales (UNSW), in 2015. After completion of her PhD, she has been a full-time postdoctoral researcher at UNSW. She was awarded Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) postdoc fellowship in 2015 and Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics (ACAP) research fellowship in 2017.
Her main research interests are:
- Landmark 50% efficient spectrum splitting solar module.
- Reducing PV module operating temperature for improved efficiency and durability.
