Ziyuan Tong


Project Officer

Dr. Ziyuan Tong is the project officer in the UNSW Digital Grid Future Institute. She obtained her Ph.D. from the University of Sydney in 2017 and has been doing research on wireless monitoring system for operating condition evaluation and fault diagnosis during her PhD program and continuously in postdoctoral research for a more industrial applicable system involving IoT technology in the communication network. She has built a distributed condition monitoring system which has been tested on rotating machinery and cables. Dr. Ziyuan Tong has initiated collaborations in several research projects in China, which include The 863 Program, 12th and 13th Five-year program and National Natural Science Foundation project.
