The Graduate Research School in conjunction with the Learning Centre are running a day-long 'Kick Start your PhD' session for new higher degree research candidates on Friday 12 May. This day is about you and your writing: there will be lots of opportunities for learning about research writing – and to put that learning into practice. The session is geared towards people who are at the early stages of their candidature.
The schedule includes workshops, facilitated writing activities and extended periods of personal writing time. You will meet other new research students and leave having established productive writing practices that will stand you in good stead for the rest of your candidature!
