Pitching to The Conversation: Online seminar

Wed, 18/08/2021 - 14:00 to 15:00

Maximising the impact of your research is always a challenging task. What if you could engage millions of people from differing backgrounds around the globe?

The Conversation Australia is a trusted publisher of research-based news and analysis that is republished by major news outlets such as the ABC, Channel News Asia, and The Guardian. Through republications, The Conversation’s monthly audience exceeds 20 million unique viewers.

In line with UNSW’s strategic priorities of Innovation and Engagement, as well as Social Impact, the Research Training team warmly invites you to meet Senior Editor Sunanda Creagh from The Conversation Australia.

On 18th of August from 2 pm to 3 pm, Sunanda Creagh will be conducting a virtual workshop to explain how to pitch ideas to The Conversation and write for a non-academic readership.

The UNSW News and Content team will also be on hand to discuss how they can support you through this process.
