The program is open to domestic applicants only (Australian Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents & New Zealand Citizens).
All applicants must meet the following entry criteria to the PhD:
- Applicants cannot have accepted an offer for, or commenced in, another PhD program
- Applicants must meet the UNSW Higher Degree Research programs admission criteria
- Applicants must meet the UNSW English language requirements

Your EOI will first be checked to determine your eligibility for the Industry PhD Scholarship (subject to successful admission to UNSW's PhD program) and will then be considered against the ideal candidate criteria for the relevant project.
If you are successful, you will then be invited to formally apply for admission to UNSW's PhD program via Apply Online. Please do not submit an application until you are invited to apply.

- There is only one Scholarship per project and UNSW reserves the right not to offer a scholarship if there are no suitable applicants.
