Under the direction of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research Training) and Dean of Graduate Research, Professor Laura Poole-Warren, the Graduate Research School (GRS) provides leadership, support and central administration for all higher degree research (HDR) candidates and their supervisors at UNSW.
We place people at the heart of everything we do, and work collaboratively with Faculties and Schools to promote a research culture of excellence, diversity, collaboration, innovation, integrity, and respect.
Our aspiration is to be recognised as an international exemplar in equity, diversity and inclusion. We aim to achieve this by embracing the cultural richness of our communities, and we are committed to admitting and supporting candidates of high potential regardless of background.
We aim to produce the research leaders of today and tomorrow through high quality research programs that are globally competitive, externally engaged, and that provide candidates with an enhanced research experience.
Given our strong commitment to knowledge exchange and the breadth of our industry-linked research activities, we provide candidates with exceptional opportunities to deliver environmental, social and economic benefits.
