Biography

I am Director of the Biostatistics and Data Science Division at the George Institute for Global Health and Professor within the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW Sydney. I have over 20 years of experience in clinical research and am recognised internationally for my leading role in the design and analysis of large-scale randomised clinical trials in critical care, cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal diseases. I am Director of the Biostatistics and Data Science Division at the George Institute for Global Health and Professor within the Faculty of Medicine at UNSW Sydney. I have over 20 years of experience in clinical research and am recognised internationally for my leading role in the design and analysis of large-scale randomised clinical trials in critical care, cardiovascular, neurological and musculoskeletal diseases. My research focuses on biostatistics and its application to the design and analysis of clinical trials.

  • Master of Science (MSc) in Statistics and Computer Science
  • Master of Research (MRes) in Public Health (Biostatistics)
  • Accredited statistician by the Statistical Society of Australia (AStat)
