Danielle is a Staff Specialist in Geriatric Medicine, Liverpool Hospital, with dual fellowships in Geriatric and General Medicine, and has over a decade’s experience in clinical geriatric medicine, both here and in Ireland. She holds a Conjoint Senior Lecturer position with the School of Medicine at UNSW Sydney.

Danielle completed her doctoral thesis in the field of stroke medicine, and most of her present research focusses on clinically meaningful, collaborative and multidisciplinary research applying to the care of older persons. This includes studies of frailty and mortality in primary care, advance care planning, strategies for caring for persons with dementia, and functional outcomes of older persons in hospital.

Danielle has an active interest in teaching and supervision, including supervising ILP/honours students and supporting early career researchers in the geriatric research sphere.
