Biography
Dr Dilan Thampapillai is an expert on contract law, commercial law and copyright law. Dr Thampapillai has authored over forty academic articles, book chapters and working papers. Dr Dilan Thampapillai is an expert on contract law, commercial law and copyright law. Dr Thampapillai has authored over forty academic articles, book chapters and working papers. He has also authored books on contract law and commercial law. Dr Thampapillai has a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a Master of Laws degree from Cornell University. He has a Master of Commerce from the University of Sydney and his undergraduate studies in law and arts were undertaken at the Australian National University. He has also undertaken non-degree studies at the National University of Singapore and Harvard University. Dr Thampapillai has been a faculty visitor at Faculty of Law, Singapore Management University and at the Faculty of Law, Cambridge University. He is also a Senior Research Associate at Jesus College, Cambridge.
Dr Thampapillai is the Associate Dean (Postgraduate Programs) at the UNSW Business School. His substantive role within faculty is the Education Director at the Centre for Social Impact. At the UNSW Business School, Dr Thampapillai has taught courses on leadership and sustainability. Dr Thampapillai has a substantial background in academic leadership and the management of academic programs.
