Dr. Jing Rao is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and IT at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, specializing in the non-destructive evaluation and acoustic imaging. Dr. Jing Rao is a Lecturer in the School of Engineering and IT at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in Australia, specializing in the non-destructive evaluation and acoustic imaging. Before coming to UNSW, she was a Humboldt research fellowship holder in the Chair of Computational Modeling and Simulation at the Technical University of Munich in Germany. After completing her Ph.D. at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore, she was a postdoc in her Ph.D. group.
Dr. Jing Rao is Associate Editor of Ultrasonic Imaging and Guest Editor of Measurement Science and Technology and Frontiers in Materials. She holds memberships in a variety of professional organizations, including Senior Member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Member of Acoustical Society of America, and Member of Australian Acoustical Society.
