Biography

Dr. Md Rifat Shahriar has over five years of experience in the field of machine condition monitoring. He was awarded a PhD degree in machinery diagnostics from Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane, Australia, in 2017. Currently he is working on number of condition monitoring projects with the Tribology and Machine Condition Monitoring research group at UNSW Sydney.

Dr. Md Rifat Shahriar has over five years of experience in the field of machine condition monitoring. Currently he is working on number of condition monitoring projects with the Tribology and Machine Condition Monitoring research group at UNSW Sydney.

Dr. Rifat’s research interest includes condition monitoring and diagnostics of electro-mechanical drive trains utilizing different sensor technologies, and development of efficient signal processing techniques for the monitoring of mechanical systems.
