Biography

Qiuxiang Huang is a Research Associate at the School of Engineering and IT (SEIT), UNSW Canberra. He is working on multi-disciplinary research that crosses engineering and biology.  He is interested in developing multi-scale coupling techniques for scientific and high-performance computing, including fluid-structure interactions with applications in blood flow, insect flight and low-Reynolds turbulence. Qiuxiang Huang is a Research Associate at the School of Engineering and IT (SEIT), UNSW Canberra. He is working on multi-disciplinary research that crosses engineering and biology.  He is interested in developing multi-scale coupling techniques for scientific and high-performance computing, including fluid-structure interactions with applications in blood flow, insect flight and low-Reynolds turbulence. He worked on developing fluid-structure interaction solvers for simulating collapsible blood vessels during his PhD at the Flow Science Lab, UNSW Canberra. He continues his research career at the Bio-Engineering Lab, UNSW Canberra as a Research Associate, working on understanding insect flight based on computational techniques.
