I have been an expert witness on over 20 cases of forensic identification from images, working with law enforcement in various forms from all over Australia and have collaborated on cases in the UK and Asia. Majority of cases involve morphological comparison between images or age identification from images.

Teghan is a lecturer is Anatomy in the School of Medical Sciences. Teghan completed her PhD in 2015 at The University of Adelaide, her PhD focus was on the identification of individuals from CCTV surveillance images using morphological characters (ie. surface anatomy). Teghan is a lecturer is Anatomy in the School of Medical Sciences. Teghan completed her PhD in 2015 at The University of Adelaide, her PhD focus was on the identification of individuals from CCTV surveillance images using morphological characters (ie. surface anatomy). In 2016 she worked as a research assistant on projects involving the morphology of the Australian Dingo. Since early 2016 she has held adjunct academic status with Flinders University in the Department of Archaeology. Teghan has had over 5 year teaching experience at three different universities in Australia. She has taught topics in the following areas: human anatomy, medicine, comparative anatomy, forensic anthropology/anatomy, biological and physical anthropology, cultural anthropology and paleopathology. Teghan currently teaches Introduction to Anatomy and is a facilitator in Ageings and Endings at UNSW. 

Teghan has very broad research interests and has specialties in the following research areas: forensic anthroplogy/anatomy, comparative anatomy, morphology, paleopathology, child growth.
