Dr Ebrahim Oromiehie

Biography

Dr Oromiehie is a Technical Officer in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites (AMAC) and also a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. He received his PhD and Master’s degree from UNSW Sydney.

Dr Oromiehie is a Technical Officer in the Australian Research Council (ARC) Training Centre for Automated Manufacture of Advanced Composites (AMAC) and also a Postdoctoral Fellow in the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at UNSW Sydney. He received his PhD and Master’s degree from UNSW Sydney.

Dr Oromiehie has about 7 years of experience, as a Mechanical Designer in designing and manufacturing of industrial measurement tools for the automobile industry and also as a Project Engineer in Oil & Gas industry.

He has collaborated with several research groups, institute and universities to implement different NDT techniques for structural health monitoring (SHM) of advanced composites. His major research interest is in automated fibre placement (AFP), online/in-situ process and structural health monitoring.
