Biography

At present, I am working as a PhD student at the University of New South Wales, contributing to clean energy research. At present, I am working as a PhD student at the University of New South Wales, contributing to clean energy research. My thesis broadly focusses on understanding the turbulence-chemistry interaction in a hydrogen-fuelled engine employing direct simulations. Prior to my enrolment at UNSW, I was a part of the Climate & Fluid Physics group at ANU and had also acted as a research associate at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (for 7 months) following the completion of my Master's degree there. Basically, my interests are in learning the physics of turbulent flow in the broad area of applications and to further improve my computational skills.


My Qualifications

  • 2019 - Present: PhD candidate at UNSW Sydney.
    • Thesis: Numerical investigation of H2-Diesel direct injection dual-fuel engines.
  • Masters in Technology (specialization: Fluids & Thermal), (2015-2017) IIT Guwahati. 
    • Thesis: Investigation of Turbulent flow using Two-equation models over a Hybrid Unstructured Grid.
  • Bachelors in Technology in Mechanical Engg, (2011-2015) Institute of Technical Education and Research.
