Biography
Jasmin is a researcher and lecturer with two decades of professional experience in sensitive technologies and their implications. She is the Vice-President for Advanced Technology of the Australian Risk Policy Institute (ARPI), the inaugural Future Technology Fellow at the Centre for Defence Research at the Australian Defence College, and a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders. Jasmin is a researcher and lecturer with two decades of professional experience in sensitive technologies and their implications. She is the Vice-President for Advanced Technology of the Australian Risk Policy Institute (ARPI), the inaugural Future Technology Fellow at the Centre for Defence Research at the Australian Defence College, and a Fellow of the Institute of Managers and Leaders. She is also a past recipient of an Early Career Fellowship from the Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE).
Jasmin holds a Bachelor of Science (Physics), a Graduate Certificate in Intelligence Analysis, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of International Relations with Excellence from UNSW Sydney and a Master of Applied Cybernetics with Commendation from the Australian National University. Her PhD research focuses on the application of molecular epidemiology and machine learning to cyber security of the Internet-of-things (IoT).
