He helped shape Australia’s National Action Plan for Endometriosis is a Principal Investigator and Chair for the NECST network.  He has more than $18Million in research funding, is on the Department of Health's Endometriosis Advisory Group, Chairs the Endometriosis Guideline committee for RANZCOG and is the co-chair for the Clinical Care Standard on Heavy Menstrual Bleeding. He currently supervises 6 PhD and 2 Honours students.

Current research interests

Current research interests are in surgical gynaecology, with research projects on endometriosis, pelvic pain, pelvic floor muscle pain, menstrual disorders vaginal laser treatments and surgical teaching.

Teaching interests

Jason has supervised 24 ILP and honours students to date with ILP and honours students having first author publications and one with nine publications since their time under his supervision.  Students have presented nationally and internationally with more than 15 awards achieved by students for their research work. Jason currently supervises ILP, honours, post-graduate trainees and PhD students.
