Professor Sue Wilson is a biostatistician with a joint appointment between the Prince of Wales Clinical School (Faculty of Medicine, 15%) and the School of Mathematics & Statistics (Faculty of Science, 10%). As well, she is a Visiting Fellow in the Mathematical Sciences Institute, ANU. She has over 200 refereed publications in biostatistics and bioinformatics, with a particular emphasis in statistical genetics/genomics. These papers have been motivated from her extensive consulting experience in the biological and medical sciences, leading to statistical modelling developments to answer substantive research questions.  She is an elected member of the International Statistical Institute, elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association and elected Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics. She has held the prestigious position of President, International Biometric Society. Currently she holds research project grants with  ARC (joint with C.J. Burden) and with NHMRC
