Biography

I obtained my PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering at UNSW in 2023. I am currently a research associate at the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering, UNSW, working in the fields of cancer diagnosis and therapy, CRISPR technology, and triggerable liposome delivery platforms. My current research interest is focused on developing ultra-sensitive CRISPR-based biosensors for cancer diagnosis.

My Research Activities

I am currently undertaking a project titled "Low cost biosensors for liquid biopsies: towards practical implementation of precision oncology". The aim of this project is to make ctDNA testing significantly more affordable and much simpler. We will develop a biosensor for ctDNA test in cancer clinical samples based on CRISPR technology, with high sensitivity and selectivity, low cost, and simplificity.

My Engagement

Served as a peer reviewer for Journal of Nanobiotechnology, Frontiers in Medical Technology, ACS Omega et al.
