Target Audience: Researchers who are broadly familiar with ARC DP rules and have applications in development for DP13.
James Walsh of the UNSW’s Research Strategy Office will present workshops on the ARC’s Discovery Projects. These repeat sessions will guide applicants who are well advanced with their DP13 applications complete these in line with the DP13 assessment criteria (which have been modified from DP12).
These 3 hour workshops will focus on the key assessment criteria and how to structure your application accordingly, covering such things as:
- How to maximise Investigators score (Track Record)?
- Project Quality and Innovation – what is needed?
- What is Research Environment?
- Feasibility – a new criterion
- Application content – do’s and don’ts
- Trends in the assessment collective
- Rejoinders
These sessions will provide ample time for questions from the audience as well as information about UNSW support and assistance available. RSO/GMO staff will be available afterwards to answer additional questions regarding eligibility/budget/DORA etc.
