Dr Jack Barton manages Geospatial Research Innovations and Development research cluster (GRID) at UNSW. He is trained as an architect and specialises in three-dimensional mapping and urban modelling applications. Jack has worked as Associate (Digital Delivery) at SGS Economics and Planning (2018-19). Jack was the Urban data and eResearch facilitator at the Australian Urban Research Infrastructure Network (AURIN)(2013-17), helping build a user community of over 7,000 users. Jack has managed his own consultancy for over 20 years, combining disciplines of research, practice and education.
