Mussel-Inspired Self-Polymerisation Reactions for Enhanced Drug Delivery and Membrane Applications

In this project, we are expanding the self-polymerisation reaction of dopamine to new monomeric compounds which incorporate metal-bindng ligands. By introducing ligands directly into the encapsulating shell, enhanced drug uptake should be possible.
