About RGC

Research Grants & Contracts (RGC) supports researchers by managing the development, review, negotiation and execution processes for all research-related agreements, and the administration of awarded research projects.

There are four distinct groups who work collaboratively within the overarching RGC office.

Post Award - Management of all post-award activities for external research funds (both grant and contract research) and provide services and resources to assist with scoping, pricing, review and execution of contracts and consulting research agreements.

Contracts - Provide services and resources to support the scoping and review of contract and competitive agreements relating to UNSW research activities, and manage the negotiation and execution process.

Major Initiatives - We provide comprehensive support for major investments and complex funding schemes and grant management, as well as the agreement review and execution processes.

Operations Team - Supports the RGC to deliver efficient, whole of lifecycle research management services.
