A/Prof Ivan Ho Shon is a Senior Staff Specialist in the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET, Prince of Wales Hospital and Conjoint Associate Professor of the University of New South Wales and has been providing specialist Nuclear Medicine and PET services since 2001. A/Prof Ivan Ho Shon is a Senior Staff Specialist in the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET, Prince of Wales Hospital and Conjoint Associate Professor of the University of New South Wales and has been providing specialist Nuclear Medicine and PET services since 2001. He has specific clinical interests in molecular imaging in oncology particularly in soft tissue sarcoma, gynaecological, thoracic, thyroid and head and neck malignancies. He is supervisor of registrar training in the Department of Nuclear Medicine and PET, Prince of Wales Hospital, supervises research students in the Faculty of Medicine, University of New South Wales and is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Australasian Radiopharmaceutical Trials Network (ARTnet). Dr Ho Shon has a number of basic and clinical research interests. His clinical research interests focus on quantitative PET parameters for prognostication and response assessment and his translational research focuses on molecular imaging and targeting of cell death.
