Annalise completed a Bachelor of Advanced Science (Honours) at the University of New South Wales, Sydney (2016 - 2019), where she received the University Medal in Genetics. In 2020 Annalise was awarded a Scientia PhD Scholarship and completed her PhD (2020 - 2024) under the supervision of Professor Kate Quinlan, within the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences at the University of New South Wales, Sydney where she investigated the role of immune cells within the adipose tissue with the aim of finding new therapeutic targets for obesity. Annalise is currently employed as a Postdoctoral Fellow in Dr. Deborah Burnett's lab, within the School of Biomedical Science at UNSW.
