My Research Activities
I am passionate about clinical research and use it to complement and inform my role as a staff specialist paediatrician in child protection.
Current projects include:
- Understanding the health needs of adolescent survivors of sexual assault
- Prevalence of strangulation/asphyxiation child sexual assault
- Drug-facilitated and technology-facilitated sexual assault in children and adolescents
- Characterising referrals to tertiary child protection units with fabricated/induced illness (FII) and understanding systemic drivers of FII
