Dr Bradley Mathers is a Lecturer with the Public Health Interventions Research Group, Kirby Institute, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW. Bradley has a background in medicine and has undertaken studies in international social development. Dr Bradley Mathers is a Lecturer with the Public Health Interventions Research Group, Kirby Institute, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW. Bradley has a background in medicine and has undertaken studies in international social development. He has been involved in research and program development in South East Asia, Iran, Mongolia and Papua New Guinea.

His recent work has focused on the global epidemiology of injecting drug use, HIV and other related harms. Bradley was previously based at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, UNSW, and has been an advisor to UNAIDS and WHO on epidemiology and monitoring and evaluation of services for key populations. Bradley joined the Kirby Institute in October 2011 and currently works across both the Public Health Interventions Research Group and the Justice Health Program.
