Dr Britta Jorgensen is a Lecturer in Journalism and Media Production at UNSW. Her research explores practice-based research, emerging journalism methods and new media producers, with a focus on independent podcast production. Dr Britta Jorgensen is a Lecturer in Journalism and Media Production at UNSW. Her research explores practice-based research, emerging journalism methods and new media producers, with a focus on independent podcast production. She is Co-Editor of the open access international scholarly journal, RadioDoc Review. She has worked on several ARC Discovery projects, published award-winning NTROs and research in international journals and book chapters, including Media International Australia, The Radio Journal: International Studies in Broadcast & Audio Media, Journal of Radio & Audio Media, Bloomsbury and Routledge handbooks. She was awarded her PhD from Swinburne University of Technology in 2021.
