My research interest primarily focuses on innovating approaches to self-assemble block copolymers into complex architectures. Some self-assembly concepts/topics, which I have expertise in, include (i) polymersome (polymer vesicle) shape transformation, (i) hierarchical self-assembly at nanometre to micrometre length scale, and (iii) inverted polymer morphologies such as cubosomes and hexosomes. More recently, I have ventured into using continuous flow setups to explore end-to-end manufacturing of polymer nanoparticles.

Besides my knowledge in block copolymer self-assembly, I have years of experience in soft matter electron microscopy (cryo-TEM, cryo-ET, 3D reconstructions, polymer staining) and a strong personal interest in topological defects in polymer particles.

I am open to collaborations and peer review requests in any of the area of studies listed above.
