Dr. Darius Danesh is a specialist in Project, Program and Portfolio Management and a decision-making advisor working closely with leaders across many industries in the public and private sectors. He has worked internationally across a diverse range of industries including Defence, Infrastructure, Transport, Energy, Oil and Gas, and Mining.

He has led and advised on a range of subject matters including Project, Program and Portfolio Management, PMO Management, Governance, Change Management and Performance Improvement, Organisational Maturity Assessment, Strategic Leadership and Asset Management, Multi-criteria Decision-Making and Decision Support Systems, Infrastructure Development, Defence Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Programs, Quality Audit and Risk Management.

Darius has been a Company Director and a Board member at various engineering and project management organisations. He is a Director of the Australian Institute of Project Management (AIPM), a member of the Canberra Division Committee of the Engineers Australia and has been an AIPM endorsed RegPM Certification Assessor and a panelist for numerous Chartered Professional Engineering (CPEng) assessment interviews.

He is a Fellow Certified Practising Portfolio Executive (FAIPM CPPE) and a Fellow Chartered Professional Engineering Executive (FIEAust CPEng EngExec NER APEC Engineer IntPE). Darius holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degrees in Engineering Science and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Project Management from the University of New South Wales (UNSW); and a Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Project Management.
