He studies how government policies, new technologies and practical adaptation can respond to challenges such as energy transition, climate change, resource security and national resilience. His work covers energy transition, renewable energy policy, electricity infrastructure, climate resilience, circular economy design, critical minerals, semiconductor and defence-critical supply chains, and economic development.
Using economic theory, innovative data and applied econometric methods, Debasish aims to contribute to practical policy solutions in Australia and emerging economies.
