Areas of supervision

Teaching:

Meteorology and Atmospheric Physics (ZPEM 2506) at UNSW Canberra

Supervision:

I currently have positions open for PhD students and honours students to work on a range of projects about the extreme rainfall associated with tropical cyclones. Ph.D. scholarships ($35,000 per year) are available for high-achieving students (with H1/High Distinction in UG and/or Masters by Research) under my supervision. If you are interested, please feel free to get in contact with me. You can seek my advice/help during the construction of your Research Proposal.

Currently supervising

1. Panpan Lu

2. Marin Akter

My Teaching

Difei’s teaching interests includes atmospheric sciences, extreme weather and climate, and natural disaster.
