I am currently Senior Research Associate in the School of Population Health, Faculty of Medicine & Health at UNSW Sydney. The focus of my work and research is on improving outcomes for older people after injury, with emphasis on musculoskeletal injury and recovery.

I have a particular interest in the implementation and sustainability of clinical registries and the application of mixed-methods research to understanding health systems and their impact on healthcare quality, safety and outcomes. I am involved in a number of research projects, including the HIPCARE Study, a cluster randomised trial with embedded process and economic evaluations in five countries in Asia. I am Qualitative Lead for HIPCARE and a member of the process evaluation team.

I have a clinical background in Physiotherapy and a Master of Public Health. I completed my PhD in 2025, titled 'Understanding adoption of best-practice hip fracture care in resource-limited settings'. Prior to my PhD, I was an integral member of the team that implemented the Australian New Zealand Hip Fracture Registry (ANZHFR), an exemplar binational clinical quality registry to track the care and outcomes of older people after hip fracture.
