Dr Farhad Habibi is an Associate Lecturer in Project Management at UNSW Canberra and a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Decision Support and Analytics Research Group. Dr Farhad Habibi is an Associate Lecturer in Project Management at UNSW Canberra and a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Decision Support and Analytics Research Group. His work focuses on analytical and systems-based approaches to project and supply chain resilience. He holds a PhD in Project Management from UNSW Canberra. His research integrates optimisation, simulation, and decision analytics to support evidence-based planning and risk management in complex systems. He has published in leading international journals in operations, production, and sustainability. Farhad’s current research contributes to circular-economy and closed-loop supply chain projects, particularly in EV battery recycling and reuse. In teaching, he specialises in project governance, business analytics, and systems thinking, with a strong emphasis on linking theory to real-world decision-making under uncertainty.
