Dr Getiye Dejenu Kibret is a Research Fellow (Biostatistician) at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, with expertise in biostatistics, epidemiology and large-scale health data analysis. His current research focuses on HIV prevention and cervical cancer prevention. He holds a PhD in Public Health from the University of Technology Sydney, as well as master’s degrees in Biostatistics and Public Health and a Bachelor of Nursing. His research experience spans longitudinal and linked health data, Bayesian and multilevel modelling, and real-world clinical research. Dr Kibret has contributed to more than 80 peer-reviewed publications and collaborates on national and international research projects aimed at improving population health and health equity.
