Dr. Han Tng is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Chemical Engineering and a member of the UNESCO Centre for Membrane Science & Technology. Han completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of New South Wales, where his research focused on assessing the reliability of membranes and other process equipment used in advanced water treatment plants. His current research looks at managing pathogen exposure risks associated with water recycling and wastewater treatment. Han collaborates closely with industry partners, leveraging his academic knowledge to address real-world challenges. He also serves on the Australian Water Association’s Young Water Professionals (AWA YWP) NSW committee as a social and professional development coordinator, enhancing social and professional networks for young water professionals.
