Dr Hongxu Wang is accredited to supervise PhD students as the Primary Supervisor. His research interests cover a wide range of topics in impact dynamics, composite materials, 3D printed materials, impact testing techniques, finite element modelling, etc.

PhD candidates with exceptional academic scores and good publication records are encouraged to contact me. Scholarships of $35,000 per annum are available for high-achieving students (with H1/High Distinction in their undergraduate program and/or a Masters by Research degree) in engineering or relevant sciences under my supervision. In addition, I accept PhD students who plan to apply for scholarships from the China Scholarship Council (CSC).

I am also happy to host visiting PhD students and academic visitors.
