Jacky (Zhan Yie) Chin recently completed his PhD with thesis entitled “Condition monitoring of gears using transmission error” and works in the Tribology and Machine Condition Monitoring group. His main research interests include gear-transmission-error analysis, vibration analysis, and the development of signal-based techniques to study the different degradation modes of gears.
