My Research Activities
I am passionate about the marine environment, I have strong research background in marine microbiology and ecology. The projects I am involved in, include the following activities:
- Bacterial-seaweeds interactions
- The ecological role of antibiotic producing bacteria
- Use of bioinformatic tools and molecular approaches for the analysis of microbial communities associates with marine samples
- Engineering of Synechococcus elongatus PCC 7942
- Supervise PhD students, assisting during experimental design, fieldwork and laboratory activities
