I am a senior staff specialist in clinical pharmacology, toxicology and addiction medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital and a clinical toxicologist with the NSW Poisons Centre. I am a senior staff specialist in clinical pharmacology, toxicology and addiction medicine at St. Vincent's Hospital and a clinical toxicologist with the NSW Poisons Centre. I am a conjoint Associate Professor at St. Vincent's Clinical School and a Senior Research Fellow with the Medicines and Health Intelligence Unit at the School of Population Health, UNSW. My research areas span neuropsychopharmacology, drugs of abuse and medicines use in pregnancy. I have a PhD in pharmacoepidemiology and have expertise in large scale observational studies using linked data, clinical trials of psychedelic assisted psychotherapy and clinical service evaluation. My vision is to optimise the use of medicines in priority populations as well as to identify new treatments and models of care for people with difficult to treat mental health and drug and alcohol concerns.
